Hi! I recently found out that I have breast cancer (early stage) which is treatable however during this time I am looking for another job. At my current job, I feel very limited and unchallenge. The worst part is I am in an office with no human contact beside my boss. I feel very out of touch with my colleague. I did find a job that fits me and in a great creative environment however with my upcoming treatments, should I leave my current job for the new job. I don't want to jeopardizes my new job with the upcoming treatment. I want to make the right choice for me.I don't know what to do.
Let me know what are you thoughts.
Thanks.

Quite a dilemma!
First, do you know yet what your treatment is going to be? This answer will help you assess the amount of time you might require off the job.
You are right: taking time off on a new job may create stress when you need to focus your energy on healing.
I would suggest that you make your health your top priority.
My inclination would be to stick with the current job until you have a handle on your treatment, the side effects, treatment effectiveness, and your energy level.
Since you have some tenure at the current employer, you may have access to benefits that would help you right now and benefits that might not be available from a new employer. Once your health is back in balance, go searching for the new position that would entice you at this stage of your career.
In the meantime, you might be able complement that boring job with some meaningful volunteer opportunity.

Thank you, Margaret!
I just need someone to let me know that I am doing the right thing with my job. You are right that my health comes first.
