The day after my first Chemo I was told not to work anymore, concentrate on getting better and come back when I'm ready for F/T.  I advised 2 wks prior to ready for F/T for which I was told Friday before my first day back on Monday - not to come in and take it slow.  They hired someone new who is starting the day I am supposed to come back and he will be calling me to discuss my return.  Now that I am no longer on Disability and I am told not to come in, how do I go about getting paid.  I hear that they can't just fire me, but can they lower my rate or hours at will - as I've been out for 5 months?
