At the beginning of my cancer treatment I amassed a credit card debt of 10k prior to receiving SSDI. No knew debt since receiving SSI, but unable to get rid of the old debt. Do credit card companies have programs to help with this??? I suppose I could just let the debt stay the same as my life expectancy might not justify trying hard to pay it?
