Workplace Politics

After surgery ,I went back to work ,now I have doctor visits for follow ups ,I do work 3rd .I asked if I was covered under the FMLA act ,so I could go to doctor appioments during the day ,I was told no ..I had plenty of time to go to doctor visit ,then Go home to sleep for work that night ,my doctor is 45 mins to a hour away from where I live .
