Life with Cancer presents…. The WTF Young Adult Survivorship Conference on August 6th, 2011!
Come join Life with Cancer and other survivors who were diagnosed between the ages of 18 to 40 for an interactive and educational conference just for young adults. Topics will range from legal and employment issues to nutrition, to managing relationships & survivorship.
Keynote speaker Tamika Felder, from Tamika and Friends, will kick off the event. Cancer and Careers’ very own Rebecca Nellis, Director of Programs, and Joanna Morales, Esq., Director of the Cancer Legal Resource Center, will be presenting a session on health insurance and employment issues. And to round out this all-star line up, a young adult panel with representatives from Life with Cancer, I'm Too Young for This! and Imerman Angels will discuss issues surrounding disclosure, dating, and survivorship care planning. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
