On Friday, March 29, 2019, Cancer and Careers will host its annual Midwest Conference on Work & Cancer, at Northwestern Prentice Women’s Hospital, in Chicago! We are excited to be returning to Chicago for the sixth time to share key information on the full spectrum of issues related to the intersection of cancer treatment/survivorship and employment.
Following the success of our milestone 5th Midwest Conference last year (click here to check out the sizzle reel), we are looking forward to welcoming another diverse audience of survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers, employers and supporters from the Midwest region. During this free, daylong program, expert speakers will be discussing the most relevant employment-related topics to consider after a cancer diagnosis — everything from disclosure and taking time off to health insurance and job search. Complimentary CEUs/PDCs are available for nurses, social workers and HR professionals. For more information on accreditation, click here.
Registration is filling up quickly, so make sure to reserve your spot today!
If you’re unable to attend, we hope you’ll join us at another in-person event or for one of our many Balancing Work & Cancer Webinars online.
This year’s conference wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our sponsors — Genentech, QVC and Novartis Oncology — and our terrific Community Partners. Together, we are empowering and educating people with cancer to thrive in the workplace!
