In just a few weeks Cancer and Careers will return to Chicago for our 4th Annual Midwest Conference on Work & Cancer — this time, with exciting changes in store! While anyone attending the free event can count on receiving the vital information on balancing cancer and employment that CAC is known for, those who’ve attended in the past will enjoy a new topic and speaker at a new and more spacious location.
This year’s Conference will take place at Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital, where we look forward to hosting even more patients, survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers and employers than last year, thanks to the larger venue — and the first 60 guests to arrive will be eligible for discounted parking (see our main Midwest Conference page for details).
In addition, we’re thrilled to welcome psychotherapist Julie Larson, LCSW, to this year’s Conference to talk about ways to manage long-term stress. As a longtime CAC partner, Julie has presented numerous webinars over the years as part of our Balancing Work & Cancer series. She has also delivered multiple presentations at our National Conference on Work & Cancer, in New York, where her sessions consistently garner hugely positive feedback.
So if you’ll be in the Chicago area on Friday, March 31, don’t miss this informative event featuring expert advice on the intersection of work and cancer. But be sure to register soon, as space is limited! We hope to see you there...
This unique, resource-rich Regional Conference would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors — Genentech, QVC and Workplace Transitions, and the help of our excellent Community Partners!
