This fall we launched our first-ever Financial Consulting Program, in partnership with Morris Retirement Advisors. The program provides cancer patients and survivors with the opportunity to get free financial guidance to help alleviate the economic concerns that all too often accompany a cancer diagnosis.
These days, financial stress is becoming more widely recognized as a side effect of a cancer diagnosis, which is why Cancer and Careers created this program. In addition to a free phone consultation with one of Morris Retirement Advisors’ certified financial planners, to help assess their financial situation, applicants receive a follow-up email with guidance for managing their finances going forward.
Since launching the program at the end of September, we’ve received an overwhelming response, further demonstrating the need for financial advice in the patient and survivor community.
This program would not be possible without the generous support of Morris Retirement Advisors.
