Hey, all! My name is Ross Weiner and I am so excited to be joining the amazing Cancer and Careers team as the new Development Coordinator. This past May, I graduated with my Master of Public Administration degree from Binghamton University’s College of Community and Public Affairs. During my time at Binghamton, I worked as a graduate assistant conducting research on the effectiveness of  social media use by nonprofit organizations. Additionally, for my master’s degree Capstone project, I developed an alumni network for an inner-city youth development organization that focused on social media outreach and young professional networking events. I am eager to utilize the skills and knowledge I have gained from previous experiences to help Cancer and Careers further its mission. 

As the Development Coordinator I will support the Development team in all areas of fundraising, special events and board relations. I will also help maintain the donor database and the development webpages.

In my spare time I love to play sports and hang out with my friends and family. I am an avid traveler and jet off to see the world anytime I can. In 2014 I was able to take in the natural beauty of Uganda and go on a safari through the South African wilderness. In 2015 I island-hopped through the Greek islands, and this year I am hoping to go to China!
