What is the Pioneers Program?
- A way to demonstrate to current and prospective employees that your company is strongly committed to supporting employees and managers that must deal with the challenge of cancer in the workplace. The Pioneers Program allows employers to more fully engage with the CAC program and to share best practices with other committed employers.
Who are the Pioneers?
- Innovative organizations that recognize the importance of their people and strive to be seen as employers of choice. Pioneers know that investment in the health of their organizations is money well spent, and that it makes sense to look constantly for new ways to make life transitions easier for staff and managers.
Why become a Pioneer?
- Benefit from the shared knowledge and experiences of other companies dealing with the same challenges.
- Demonstrate your commitment to employees facing the challenge of cancer and to the needs of their managers.

- Receiving tools and guidance for your managers who want to support employees struggling with cancer but who may not know how.
- Enabling employees to remain engaged and productive during and after the treatment cycle.
